Closet detox: say goodbye to what you no longer use!

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Of everything you have stored in your closet, how much do you really wear in your daily life? The change of season is a good time to order and discard everything that has not been used for a long time, occupying a valuable place. And by the way, donate it or give it away so that it has a new life.

So you don’t get overwhelmed during closet cleanout, keep in mind what you should remove:

Old-fashioned clothes: They were a trend at the time but now they look outdated. This does not count for those classic and timeless garments that always look good and are used beyond the years.

Clothes that you did not take to fix: If for a long time you have clothes that need to be adjusted, or fixed (change zipper, raise the hem, etc.) and you do not plan to do it immediately, it is better to discard them since it is very likely that you will never do it. The same goes for broken or missing parts or accessories or jewelry.

Everything that is not your size: Do not wait until you lose weight to put those pants back on, keep only what fits you now.

Garments that you have not worn for more than a year: If you did not even remember that you had them or if they still have the label, it is because they never convinced you. Better find them a new owner.

Old and worn t-shirts and sweatshirts to be at home: Even if you do not go out, looking and feeling good in the clothes you wear lifts your mood. Discard those clothes that already almost look like rags!

Get to work and optimize your closet. When you’re done cleaning and tidying it up, you’ll be amazed at how much you accumulate!
